Who we are
Cannabis Council Australia (CCA) is the national peak body for medicinal cannabis, representing licensed producers, prescribers, pharmacists and other health professionals.

Our purpose is to support a sustainable medicinal cannabis sector to achieve safe, affordable and equitable access to medicinal cannabis healthcare for Australians who may benefit — through evidence-based practice, sound clinical governance and nationally consistent standards.
We work collaboratively with government, clinicians, researchers, industry and the community to embed medicinal cannabis healthcare within Australia’s broader healthcare system, free from stigma and grounded in quality and care.
Our Vision
A future where every Australian who may benefit from medicinal cannabis can access safe, high-quality and evidence-based healthcare — delivered with compassion and respect, without stigma, and supported by trusted national standards.
